Yes - Global Interdependence Day - A day set aside to celebrate our interdependence through honoring each other and our world in ways that are unique to
each individual and community.

Summer in the Northern Hemisphere &
Winter in the Southern Hemisphere

Where?
Everywhere |
Why?
Because we need a holiday to celebrate our accomplishments as a species as we evolve towards sustainable living, and we need to honor the connections and communities that we
have created in this process.

How?
However each individual and community wishes to celebrate and honor this day is part of what makes this day so special - there are no templates or traditions - it is a day to establish new traditions.

Declaration of Interdependence

I, the Green PaTroll,
hereby declare:
I will always strive to uphold
the principles of 'interdependent'
living by...
~ Asking the ants who keep
invading my domicile to please
relocate to a better place and
putting some nice treats outside
for them instead of smashing
them with my new Birkenstock
shoe.
~ Making sure that I respect my
neighbors by not having primal scream sessions at 3am.
~ Always striving to not pick too
many flowers when I go for my
walks so that they can reseed
themselves.
~ Being patient with my weaknesses
and mistakes (which will allow me
to be the same to others)
~ Giving my utmost attention to
loved ones on a regular basis...
it is easy to forget sometimes that
we all need triple 'A' treatment -
Attention, Acknowledgement,
and Affirmation!
