So you read the beginnings and here is where we are at right NOW at the launch of this site...did you ever notice that now is won backwards...no brainer right?
For the most part our team has been working on defining the parameters of this web portal so that it can grow into a matrix that allows maximum expansion without becoming another site that just bulges into foreverdom and fails to provide a coherant unfolding "story".
The Interdependent Project web portal and Interdependent Project Radio begins a story at the "roots" of the Tree of Sustainability and as we explore the ten branches we discover that the hundreds of branches that grow outward from there create an interdependent web of life.
One thing that became clear while developing this portal is that this site is NOT a theraputic based "self-help" guide to how to attain a healthy state of interdependence. It IS a place to take what YOU need to move in the direction of a more sustainable lifestyle which will inevitably bring you into a healthy state of interdependence.
Our project is a FOR-PROFIT endeavor and our strategy for shameless resource extraction and allocation is based upon our projects directive to "connect the resources with the resourceful". More about this on the "Future" page. The Interdependent Project is owned by SeThInk Media which is in the process of filing as a "B" Corporation.
We had planned to have our beginning revenue flow to be primarily generated from sponsors and advertisers for this web portal and the Interdependent Project Radio. Since the launch of this project we have seen that all of these traditional models are simply not going to be able to escape the evolutionary leap we are making and therefore we are currently researching and developing a new model that will replace this old one - we are committed to creating a win/win for-profit media company that invites partnerships with businesses and services that will be honored members of our community that provide goods and services that are vital to our successful transition into a sustainable economy. They will also have to have been leading the way in establishing a higher quality standard and have a deep commitment to our common future. |
